The practice is committed to providing exceptional service to their patients. A unique opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and committed Medical Receptionist to join their team on a short term basis. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Personal Assistant and secretarial support to the surgeon Scheduling patient consultations Administration of the front desk and patient clinics Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently Patient invoicing and receipting Co-ordinating theatre lists, booking theatres and preparing patients for surgical procedures Surgical quotations Completion of end of day reconciliations Liaising with other doctors, hospitals and medical representatives Additional duties as required by the Practice Manager To be successful for this position you will enjoy being part of a small team and have previous experience working in a similar setting. You will be highly organised with an eye for detail and able tackle any task with strong follow through. You will be self-motivated and able to work within a team as well as autonomously. Additionally you will be an effective communicator committed to superior customer service and demonstrate empathy and compassion. You will need to be able to multi task in a demanding environment.
