The Company
Are you seeking an opportunity that offers WFH flexibility and a true work/life balance where you are trusted to manage your days as you see fit, without bringing work home? If so, this role is perfect for you.
Founded over 30 years ago and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, our client is a major distributor of consumer electronics accessories in Australia and New Zealand. The company serves various sectors, including retail, telecommunications, B2B, and kiosks.
With a long-standing staff member set to leave in a couple of months, our client is seeking a permanent replacement to start in the next few weeks. This will ensure a smooth and thorough handover-an advantage that isn't always possible in many other situations.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Coding and matching stock invoices to purchase orders
2. Ensuring Opex invoices are correctly allocated to general ledger accounts
3. Uploading banking transactions for invoice matching
4. Reconciling monthly bank statements
5. Supporting accounts receivable with invoice processing and payment collections
6. Managing vendor relationships
7. Processing employee expense
8. Assist with audits, maintaining meticulous AP records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
About you:
Ideally, we are seeking someone available for full-time hours. However, for the right candidate, the client is willing to consider offering school hours, approximately 32 hours per week. Additionally, we require a minimum of 2 years of similar experience, with at least 6 months of that experience being from a business based in Australia.
What's on offer:
9. Two days of work-from-home per week after the training period.
10. Flexible start and finish times.
11. Full-time hours or school hours (32 hours per week).
12. An autonomous position within a small finance team of 4 members.
