About the role
Do you enjoy being involved in major events and delivering amazing experiences?
As Associate Event Producer you will be part of the City Events team, responsible for delivering exceptional festivals and events that engage the community and raise the profile of the City of Ipswich as a major event city and leading event destination in Queensland.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assist with programming of events within Council’s signature festivals and other major events to deliver amazing experiences, quality arts and cultural outcomes, and community and economic benefits
2. Facilitate the coordination of relevant stakeholders, both external and across Council, fostering trust and collaboration to achieve agreed priorities
3. Utilise event processes and best-practice reporting, analysis, feasibility, performance measurement and research to demonstrate value and ROI for clients and council

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
4. A relevant events, marketing and/or tourism qualification
5. Experience in event delivery, including programming events or venues (outdoor venue experience highly desirable)
6. Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
7. Excellent communication and administration skills
8. Hold a current Queensland C class driver’s licence
9. Ability to work outside of core office hours during event delivery will be required
A pre-employment medical will be required for this role.

This is a permanent full time, Level 3 position with a salary commencing at $77,104 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
