Reporting into the Interlock Service & Installation Manager, the new Automotive Technician (“AT”) will be based at our Burleigh Heads, QLD workshop. The AT is to play a key role in the handling of Draeger Interlock devices and serving customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Installation of Draeger alcohol interlock devices into vehicles;
* Demonstrate and train participants on the correct use of Draeger alcohol interlock devices - Interlock Alcohol Program (draeger.com);
* Conduct periodic servicing and repair of the devices;
* Provide excellent, personalised customer and technical service;
* Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
* Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
* A genuine passion in the field of auto electrics;
* Strong hands-on, technical aptitude and ability to handle electronic devices;
* Intermediate computer operation capability required for basic data downloads and processing;
* Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment;
* Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
* Excellent customer focus, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills, and;
* Can-do, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
