This role is part of Cardiac Rhythm management team at a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
* Supporting implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and CRT devices under the direction of a manager.
* Providing technical support and advice during post-op follow-ups and clinics.
* Completing pre-course reading and online training.
* Attending didactic training and completing course exams.
* Participating in field visits to observe device implants and checks with colleagues.
Additional Responsibilities
Other key responsibilities include:
* Developing a clear understanding of sales force effectiveness imperatives by undertaking sales skills training and engaging with territory managers.
* Building relationships with and servicing key customer groups.
* Conducting education/training for hospital staff.
* Identifying customer needs and communicating these to relevant Territory Managers.
* Maintaining and updating product knowledge through internal and external training sessions.
Requirements
The following requirements are essential:
* On-call participation as applicable to the role.
* Obtaining and maintaining certification as specified by Abbott.
Preferred Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include:
* Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement, or related fields (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician).
* Cardiac technical experience working in pacing.
* Minimum of 1 year working with Abbott CRM products.
