You’ll need an appropriate level of formal training for this role as well as significant experience in the day to day operations of a commercial kitchen, including ordering and rostering of staff. You’ll also be someone who has a good team approach and collaborates well with management.Of course, working weekends is a must, but it’s only the occasional special event that will require a later evening shift.
