Our client is looking for a pro-active and passionate manager to oversee one of our gaming-focused venues.
The venue has a solid local following and offers a supportive Senior Management and ownership team, providing all the backup needed to be successful in the role.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business, including bar and bistro, bottleshop, accommodation, gaming, and staffing requirements.
This will involve reporting to the Group Operations Manager and working closely with the management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the venue, including managing staff and resources.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve venue performance and customer satisfaction.
* Manage financials, including ordering stock, performing regular stock takes, and ensuring accurate cost control.
* Lead a team of professionals and train new candidates to ensure high standards of service and quality.
* Monitor and analyze KPIs, P&L statements, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in a top-performing gaming venue.
* A community-focused approach to management, with a positive and supportive style.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead from the front and motivate staff.
* Strong gaming and tab experience, with a deep understanding of the industry.
* Solid financial knowledge, with the ability to manage budgets and make informed business decisions.
* Self-motivation and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
