Administrative Support OfficerFull-time PermanentDetails: The Branch is seeking an administrative support officer with an interest in information access, procurement and legal matters and an ability to work independently across a variety of matters in set timeframes within a busy work environment.
The successful applicant will work under general direction in relation to established priorities and work practices to achieve results.
The successful applicant will work across the branch as workflow and priorities determine with a focus on information access matters.
This position may have significant exposure to information relating to government services and as such requires high sensitivity and confidentiality.
Information handled by the team occasionally includes images or information which may be distressing.
The successful person will be highly motivated, willing to learn and be a team player.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Experience in the application of legislation, particularly the Freedom of Information Act 2016, is highly desirable.Note: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months.
This is a full-time position that can be filled in a variety of ways.
Consideration will be given to part-time or flexible working arrangements.
This position is based in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
Part of work hours can be spent working from home.
