Sunshine Plaza Security Officer - Casual
We are currently looking for security officers to be based at Sunshine Plaza on a Casual basis.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing a high-quality front-line security service.
* Identifying, monitoring, and resolving risk.
* Reporting and recording incidents.
* Providing immediate response to medical and security incidents including emergency management.
* Establishing professional relationships with emergency services.
* Delivering conflict resolution and de-escalating situations as necessary.
* Providing sound operational advice and guidance to other security officers.
You will have:
* Valid security licence with crowd controller function.
* Driver's licence and own, reliable transport.
* Physical fitness (expect to walk around 30,000 steps per shift).
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Moderate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook).
* Sound word processing skills with ability to write clear, articulate, and factual incident reports and update and maintain shift logs.
* Demonstrated security experience, or translatable real-world skills/experience.
