Core requirements Working as a critical member of the kitchen team, we seek an enthusiastic and creative Pastry Chef on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a modern, driven Pastry Chef to assist with menu building, impart knowledge and experience, and delight our guests' taste buds.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Preparation of delicious treats and desserts for corporate functions and events, including high teas and weddingsEnsuring consistently high standards of food preparation and qualityDecorating pastries using a variety of icings and toppings for appealAdhering to strict cleaning and food hygiene programsCreatively contributing to food promotionKnowledge of all pastry methods involved in the preparation of items produced in the Pastry KitchenEnsuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Work Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelinesAny other duties assigned by your managerAbout you Have a natural positive demeanor, with excellent communication, delegation, and training skillsPossess artistic and creative flairProven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse teamCertificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above, Certificate 3 in Patisserie or equivalentFlexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysComprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standardsCulture and Benefits Supplied meals during allocated rostered shiftsDiscounted onsite car parkingDaily discounted coffee and dining menu, including our world-famous La Boca Bar and GrillHow to Apply If you have the experience, we'll give you the opportunity.
