Facilities: Aegis Health Clinic The Aegis Health Clinic is a 36-bed inpatient mental health unit situated within Aegis Health Private Hospital. This facility offers overnight admissions for patients requiring higher intensity treatment and care in a controlled and supported environment. Population: Our target populations are individuals with mental health conditions or difficulties who require support on a voluntary basis, including those with comorbid alcohol and drug issues. Aegis Health Candidates: If you’re driven to make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges and pioneer a better mental health care system, here’s what we are looking for in our applicants: Expertise, experience and a passion for mental health. 1. We value nursing professionals who bring expert knowledge, depth of experience and specialised skills in managing mental health conditions. Ideally, we are seeking nurses with at least two years of experience working in the mental health sector. Nurses with training and/or experience in undertaking group-based or individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and/or Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) are highly desirable. 2. Commitment to integrated care. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about and open to working together within an interdisciplinary team, including having shared responsibilities. 3. Innovative mindset.
