We value what our staff bring and offer recognition and incentive programs to celebrate our achievements.We have an opportunity for you to join our team at Korvest as our new Technical Officer / Tooling Supervisor.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Technical Officer / Tooling Supervisor provides technical support for all equipment and tooling including outsourcing of new tools, major tooling changes, spares, preventative maintenance and associated documentation while overseeing a small team of toolmakers for in house sharpening and minor repairs.Key Responsibilities Include: Supervise and offer technical assistance to toolmakersManage technical documentation for plant, equipment and tooling including setup procedures, changeover procedures, operating procedures and preventative maintenance proceduresIdentify and manage equipment and tooling spares as well as maintenance consumablesCoordinate outsourcing of new tooling and any major tooling changesAssist with managing maintenance contractors to ensure they carry out the scheduled workGeneral administrative dutiesYou Will Bring:Trade or engineering backgroundMinimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to use Solidworks and 2D CAD (desirable)Time management skills with an ability to prioritize and handle several different tasks at the same timeProven ability to work effectively in a team environment where work is shared to achieve deadlines and respond to changing prioritiesUnderstanding of safety and environment responsibilities and accountabilitiesSound knowledge of press tooling and roll formingWhy Join Us?Annual KPI incentive programEligibility for company share bonus after 2 years of serviceSocial programs including quarterly site-wide eventsEmployee referral programCharity and community support programsProfessional and personal career developmentAccess to our employee assistance programEzyStrut celebrates our diverse and inclusive workforce.
