About the Opportunity
TAL recognises the evolving market for experienced Claims Consultants and has established a Foundation Program to develop the next generation of professionals in this field. As part of our Retail channel, you will work closely with customers who have purchased life insurance through their financial advisor, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolutions to claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Independently manage a portfolio of life insurance claims from initiation to closure.
* Analyse, assess, and finalise claims payments while collaborating with external experts, including treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants, and in-house medical specialists.
* Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with our philosophy and procedures.
Requirements:
We are seeking individuals with transferable skills and knowledge who share our commitment to helping Australians navigate life's challenges. Relevant backgrounds may include nursing, allied health, counselling, accounting, or legal professions. Key skills include building rapport with customers, excellent communication and decision-making abilities, and a passion for lifelong learning.
