An exciting new role at nbn for a Software Engineering Expert reporting to the Senior Manager Software Engineering.
A bit about the role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems to solve various business challenges. You will work on end-to-end solutions using a range of languages and frameworks (full stack), build the full application stack and provide application support. This is not a specialist role but rather a generalist able to undertake all aspects including design, implementation and testing of the final solution.
You will work in a cross-functional team with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and deliver high-impact business solutions and deploy them in production.
A bit about you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as a Software Engineer and a background in developing and building products in cross-function product teams.
Someone with a sound understanding and experience in self-service and data product development, working in teams using scrum and agile practices. Experience in languages such as Python, Javascript, Typescript, and SQL. Experience in cloud deployment in AWS and using databases such as Relational, Graph, NoSQL, and KeyValue.
You will have experience with stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Excellent communication and reporting skills and the ability to liaise and engage with other Engineers.
