The Role: As Social Media & Brand Specialist for The Lazy CEO/Jane Lu, you’ll work in this standalone role directly with the CEO to develop and execute her personal brand strategy. This is a hands-on role involving everything from content creation and channel management to public relations and event representation. You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging social media content, managing public-facing channels, attending industry events, and coordinating PR efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and possesses a keen understanding of brand building in the digital age. Day to day, you will: Develop and execute content strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.). Oversee the end-to-end production of content, including filming, editing, and publishing posts that reflect The Lazy CEO voice and message at events, for podcasts and day to day content Analyse and report on social media performance, making data-driven recommendations to grow and engage audiences Come up with innovative content ideas and take ownership of execution through to posting Podcast management - liaise and assist with recruiting potential podcast guests for The Lazy CEO podcast, film content, assist in production and final output Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts to enhance The Lazy CEO brand presence in the press Manage incoming PR opportunities, proactively seeking media placements and interview opportunities Identify, develop & negotiate strategic brand partnerships and collaborations to expand the CEO’s visibility and influence Coordinate and attend entrepreneur-focused events and those associated with the brand, ensuring The Lazy CEO is represented effectively Work with event organisers and publicists to arrange speaking engagements, panels, and networking opportunities Prepare talking points, media kits, and other materials to support the CEO’s event presence Attend all relevant events in relation to the brand Provide assistance across the CEO’s other business ventures and initiatives as needed, ensuring brand alignment and consistency Assist in planning and executing initiatives that align with the CEO’s personal and business goals Copywriting in The Lazy CEO/Jane Lu tone of voice Who are we looking for?: 3 years of experience in brand management, PR, or social media, preferably within the personal branding or entrepreneurial space Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with an eye for engaging, visually appealing content Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) and social media platforms Strong network within media and/or influencer communities is a plus Ability to travel for events as needed PERKS Our embedded culture of Think Big, Get St Done and Have Fun gives everyone the ability to make a massive impact across the entire organisation.
