We are currently seeking a Christmas casual for the Mandurah store. This may lead to more regular shifts after the Christmas season.
Inspirations Paint is about giving our customers the right equipment for their project, we’re about giving them the confidence and inspiration to make that project awesome. Inspirations Paint is Australia’s leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets.
We are offering a casual role, with 15-25 hours rostered per week including regular Saturdays. The successful applicant would be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers.
Award wages and a uniform is supplied, along with ongoing training. Store opening hours are currently 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and between 8.30am-5pm Saturdays.
As the paint industry is a specialised industry, we will provide the relevant training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to undertake the role. Relevant sales experience within the paint industry or with practical home improvement projects is an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
* Tinting and mixing paint, providing colour advice and colour-matching
* Providing an exceptional customer experience and expert paint advice for both retail and trade
* Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping
* Workplace Health & Safety requirements
* Following the “Inspirations Way” procedures
Experience / Attributes:
* A demonstrated background in sales and/or customer service would be well regarded
* Knowledge of the paint industry and paint application highly desirable
* Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable
* Able to problem solve using advanced communication skills
* A willingness to learn and continuously improve
* Able to contribute and work in a small team environment
* A current driver’s licence is essential
* Honest, reliable and punctual
* Basic computer skills
* This role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgs
