About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking Exploration Geologists. The position would hold a 8/6 roster flying in and out out Perth. This role is a great opportunity for a passionate professional who enjoys working in the field, has solid leadership and stakeholder management skills and able to bring all the pieces of the project together.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Plan and design drill programs for risk management in resources and reserves.
2. Undertake field interactions with contract partners.
3. Manage and oversee the collection and interpretation of data.
4. Ensure sampling and quality control of geological data is maintained to a high standard.
5. Provide leadership and support for contractor management.
6. Contribute to on-site planning and scheduling.
Skills & Experience Required:
7. Tertiary qualification in Geology
8. Previous working knowledge of Pilbara Iron Ore geology or similar geological data collection and fieldwork.
9. Experience with data processing, QAQC and geological data validation.
10. Exposure to health and safety management and implementation systems
11. CClass drivers licence
12. First Aid Certificate
13. Software and general computer skills
14. Rights to work in Australia
