The Role and our Branch
The System Performance Branch is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated and motivated individual to the role of Program Consultant AEDC.

The System Performance Branch is responsible for:
3. coordinating system-level reporting, including production of the Annual Report
4. collecting and maintaining statistics on schools and students for the education sector
5. producing performance indicators used in system-level strategic planning, management and reporting
6. providing advice on, and support in, the use of performance and statistical information for resource allocation
7. advising internal business areas and external agencies on the appropriate use of system-level performance information
8. providing advice on accountability arrangements, statistics and performance measurement and reporting at state and national levels, including representation on national statistical bodies and other working groups
9. providing advice on, and support for, evaluation and research activities, including administration of the Research Conducted on Educational Sites by External Parties policy.
10. providing advice and support to schools, government and non-government organisations and the wider community on the AEDC and early childhood development and learning
The Program Consultant AEDC will:
11. Plan, implement and evaluate designated elements of policies, procedures, programs, initiatives and strategies relating the AEDC.
12. Provide advice and support to schools, government and non-government organisations and the wider community on the AEDC and early childhood development and learning.
13. Provide advice and support to schools in relation to AEDC data collection and financial matters.
14. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to inform policy development, service delivery and program management.
15. Assist in the development and delivery of AEDC professional learning.
16. Contribute to developing and implementing strategies and procedures that support high-quality, evidence-based early childhood teaching, learning and development in public schools.
17. Interpret AEDC data to assist AEDC program management, service delivery, and promotion of AEDC results.
18. Prepare ministerial correspondence, reports, submissions and policy briefings on AEDC and broader early childhood education matters.
