The role involves the provision of high-quality clinical care and support to NDIS participants. The Registered Nurse position encompasses training, direct support, and quality review of clinical documents to ensure adherence to the highest standards of care and compliance with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Quality and Safeguarding Framework, individual Participant NDIS goals and outcomes, and other relevant legislation and standards. The role is classified as Level 3 of the Nurses Award, and the level will vary based on skills and experience. Role Criteria: Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Nursing Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency Industry experience in Management, Disability, and/or Home and Community care Professional Skills and Experience Strong written communication, participant/stakeholder engagement, and mediation skills. Sound knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the high-intensity support skills descriptors. Previous experience in working with individuals, families, or groups. Demonstrated experience in assessing and planning intervention for people requiring support Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. Experience working in a culturally sensitive manner with participants from diverse cultural backgrounds Current Driver License Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance prior to your commencement Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for staff Interpersonal Skills and Experience Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to problem-solve and use initiative. Strong communication skills and demonstrated capacity to collaborate as part of a diverse team.
