LHA is committed to a culture that promotes inclusion, is predicated on integrity, mutual respect and trust, supports good public governance, and encourages the delivery of professional apolitical advice.About the Division: The role sits within LHA's Intelligence, Compliance and Enforcement Division.The division promotes, monitors, investigates, and enforces compliance with the LHL Act and a broad range of relevant laws by labour hire licence applicants, licence holders, unlicensed providers, and hosts, both proactively and in response to complaints and intelligence that we receive from the public and other regulators.About the Role: Reporting to the Manager, Intelligence, Compliance and Enforcement, Senior Compliance Officers: Lead complex investigations into non-compliance with the Act, including legal obligations under workplace, taxation, superannuation, migration, and health and safety laws.Gather evidence, draft reports, and make sound recommendations in relation to licensing decisions or enforcement action that are consistent with LHA's strategic objectives.Lead field inspections.Engage with a variety of stakeholders to educate and influence compliance. About You: Experienced and passionate about leading compliance and enforcement activities, preferably in a government and/or regulator context.Keen to contribute to improving employment conditions of vulnerable workers.Strong ability and passion as a researcher with strong conceptual and analytical skills.Effective communicator and listener, able to build and maintain good relationships with our stakeholders.
