The Opportunity & Responsibilities: We have a great opportunity for a qualified and highly experienced Electrician with extensive knowledge on mining equipment. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity based out of Mackay supporting various Mine Sites throughout this region. The core responsibilities for this position are: Look at ways to maximise Komatsu equipment's availability, reliability and productivity Providing technical support, diagnostics and troubleshooting for Komatsu fleet Reporting on regular machine issues Creating detailed technical documentation and providing recommendations / resolutions for equipment performance issues Role Located: Mackay Roster: 7 days on and 7 days off, Thursday to Wednesday, day shift only Remuneration: Approximate salary of $150,000 - $165,000 per year, plus fleet vehicle and paid accommodation Komatsu Benefits: Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave plus many more family friendly benefits Financial: Company funded Income Protection Insurance Career: Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career development Health: Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus Health Travel: Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agents Referral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to Komatsu Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have your Cert III or Equivalent in Electrotechnology (Electrician) & QLD Electrical License Experience working as a Field Service Technician is preferred with exposure to breakdown, repairs and diagnostics Previous experience working in a mine-site is preferred Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical drawings An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management Ability to analyse / troubleshoot complicated hydraulic, mechanical and electrical technical problems and provide solutions Current driver's license Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work unsupervised Ready to get started?
