The department also plays a crucial role in providing expert technical support to staff and students.This newly created role is responsible for enhancing the execution and outcomes of key Information Technology projects across the Institute. The IT Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of critical IT initiatives that have been approved and budgeted by the executive, in alignment with the Institute’s Data, System and Technology (DST) Strategy. A significant focus of the role will be on developing and implementing standardised IT project delivery methodology, along with establishing effective processes and procedures. Additionally, the Program Manager will play a vital role in engaging and educating a wide range of stakeholders on the adopted project delivery models.ABOUT YOUDegree in Business, Information or Technology systems or similar discipline with significant relevant experience and current project and/or program management certification; Demonstration of significant and relevant program and project management experience without certification may be considered.10+ years’ experience in senior IT project management roles with responsibility for project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation and stakeholder management.Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering multiple complex IT projects, with a strong understanding of contemporary project management methodologies.Ability to appropriately engage, influence and collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes.Strong leadership skills in guiding, motivating and managing teams and stakeholders toward successful project outcomes.In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and the ability to ensure project delivery aligns with institutional policies, regulations, and safety standards.Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues and provide effective solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.ABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
