Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Business Development Manager Our client offers an online platform that enables sellers in the restaurant (dine-in and take away) and retail industries to enhance and manage their product offerings across multiple channels.
We are currently looking for a Mandarin Speaking Business Development Manager in Sydney.
The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth by generating new sales leads, reconnecting with existing warm leads, and effectively communicating our client's products, offers, and pricing to clients.
The role involves positioning our company as the preferred supplier, enhancing client retention, and encouraging repeat business.
Responsibilities: Oversee trading operations and drive market expansion within the Chinese community in Sydney. Attract new clients and foster long-term, productive relationships to encourage ongoing sales and repeat business. Develop and maintain multi-layered relationships with existing customers, working closely with the Customer Support team to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and tackle challenges, aiming to build sustainable and mutually beneficial sales relationships. Design and implement sales strategies tailored to various customer segments, manage marketing activities, and assist customers in enhancing their sales performance. Analyze market trends and provide insights to support sourcing strategies. Gather and interpret customer needs from a product development perspective through data analysis, and relay this information to the Product Sourcing team. Monitor and assess data and market conditions to identify competitive advantages, emerging trends, and market gaps. Summarize operational techniques for customers, develop customer success stories, and enhance service value. Renegotiate contracts with key customers as they approach expiration, seeking upgrades to higher-tier packages. Requirements: Over 2 years of direct experience in lead generation and sales conversion. Experience with social e-commerce business operations, including managing WeChat groups. Strong personal organization and structured approach to work. Bilingual with proficiency in both Mandarin and English. Client-focused with excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation. Agile and able to adapt to continuous changes within the company. Highly analytical with a good understanding of eCommerce key performance indicators. Knowledgeable about the latest trends in digital marketing and eCommerce. Experience in team management.
