They provide application management including implementing new requirements, maintenance and support and continuous improvement. This role also delivers strategic functional guidance of the IT systems and processes that support most key processes within SA Power Networks.This Functional Specialist will have superior technical skills and will act as a Subject Matter Expert and Thought Leader in the Record to Report area. This stream covers finance processes including general accounting, revenue accounting, planning & management accounting, treasury, capital project accounting, taxes, property, and real estate.Key role objectivesProvides input on new project impacts.Implements and supports SAP applications in line with SLAs and KPIs.Suggests valuable improvement initiatives that provide value to the organisation.Resolves incidents and requests in line with SLAs.Contributes to continuous application support improvement.Enhances user knowledge through communication and training.Work & build relationships with our business stakeholders to understand their business processes and pain points.Understands opportunities presented by SAPN ERP on S4 HANA and Version 2023 FP1.A degree qualification in an IT related discipline and/or equivalent skills and knowledge gained through experience.Extensive experience working with SAP software, particularly in a functional analyst role. Experience with other relevant modules is essential.
