About the Role Life Without Barriers invites applications for the role of Regional Operations Manager, National Immigration Support Service (NISS). The purpose of the Regional Operations Manager position is to lead, manage and mentor Service Delivery Team/s across a specific area. This includes accountabilities for all operations and team/s performance in an allocated region including operational budgets, contractual compliance, and management of external relationships and reputation, while complying with the relevant regulatory frameworks. The incumbent is responsible for fostering strong relationships with the relevant key stakeholders to ensure successful service delivery, an environment focused on achieving client outcomes, adherence to contractual and legislative requirements, and successful financial performance. The incumbent is responsible for resolving and responding to organisational/ client related matters both strategically and immediately as they occur. This permanent full-time position, with options for both office (Parramatta) and home-based work arrangements, accommodating a balanced work-life integration while contributing to a vital cause. About You You are a seasoned professional with substantial experience in operational management and team leadership, ideally within the humanitarian sector. Your strategic planning skills, advocacy for CALD communities, and dedication to enhancing clients' settlement journeys are exemplary. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Service Delivery Team/s across allocated region to provide services aligned with legislation, quality standards, and in line with DHA contractual requirements. Provide day to day support, direction and mentoring for Teams to achieve business plan outcomes. Lead and support inclusion and participation and a commitment to effective service delivery. Provide coaching, support and advice on complex client needs, service delivery issues and critical incident response. Lead, manage and embed systems, processes and procedures to ensure provision of high quality and responsive services that meet program needs. Implement and monitor processes that measure service effectiveness to continually improve the quality and reliability of supports and service delivery in line with organisational frameworks. Ensure continuous improvement in the delivery, monitoring and review of client services including the implementation and embedding of effective ongoing feedback processes. Give clients a voice by effectively utilising the organisation's mechanisms for clients to provide feedback. Implement, monitor, review and manage operational and administrative systems and procedures to support the effective delivery of programs. Identify, explore, support and implement strategic projects to improve client outcomes and service delivery. Work actively with networks internal and external to the organisation ensuring effective links with Government departments, service providers, community groups and funded agencies. Skills & Experience Tertiary level qualifications in Human Services / business, management, or relevant field. Demonstrated experience in the management of programs and services for vulnerable people. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management. Demonstrated ability to manage services and programs within a budget. Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Demonstrated experience working within a complex, dynamic and high-volume environment, and managing competing priorities. Proven experience in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders from government agencies, accrediting bodies, and NGOs. Demonstrated knowledge of community services policy and practice in Australia. Working knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory environment for areas of business responsibility. Ability to drive organisation-wide initiatives and strong organisational, planning and prioritising ability. Ability to implement national business development and growth strategies. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies. Excellent written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material. Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability. Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Current Drivers Licence.
