Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking the services of dedicated Property Team Members for our Drouin, Drouin East and/or Traralgon campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and provide important maintenance and improvements at our campuses.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:
1. Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle.
2. Using vehicles, plant, mowers and equipment required to undertake tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
3. Working with skilled tradespersons to service and maintain facilities and equipment as required.
4. As part of the team, maintaining records of essential services and occupational health tests and checks.
The successful candidate will have the following:
1. Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith.
2. Skills and experience in the operation of tools, plant and machinery.
3. Understanding and experience of Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
4. Trade certificates or related qualifications (desirable).
