As the North East Region Manager, you'll drive regional growth, build enduring relationships, and promote inclusivity across netball communities in Victoria.About the RoleIn this leadership role, you'll spearhead Netball Victoria's strategy in the Victoria's North East Region, working closely with local associations, leagues, clubs, and government stakeholders.
You'll oversee key initiatives to increase participation, champion community support, and foster a high-performance culture within the netball community.
This role requires a split of time between NV offices in Shepparton and Parkville.Key ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Engagement: Implement participation strategies, provide support to clubs and leagues, and drive initiatives for male participation and diverse community involvement.Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local councils, sports academies, and community groups to expand netball's reach.Facility Strategy & Support: Work with the Facilities Development Team on local facility planning, providing insights and facilitating audits and site visits as needed.Communication & Community Impact: Partner with the Communications Team to promote regional events and successes, and engage with media for positive exposure.What You'll BringA relevant tertiary qualification and 5+ years of experience in a related leadership roleProven ability to build and sustain meaningful partnerships across varied stakeholder groupsStrong knowledge of community sport, especially netball, with a passion for driving community engagement and participationExceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsExperience managing strategic plans, budgets, and volunteer engagement within a community or sporting environmentCurrent driver's license and a Working with Children CheckWorking with Children / Working with Vulnerable People CheckWe'd love to learn more about you, so please send a cover letter as to why you're suitable for the role, along with your CV to the Careers team via ****** by Sunday 14 March 2025.Your commitment to the team will be met with a flexible and friendly work environment.
