We’re seeking an Associate Air Quality Specialist to oversee projects that support technical inputs and lead technical delivery for Jacobs projects. You’ll serve as a technical specialist and lead for Air Permitting, Modelling, Monitoring, and Reporting. The purpose of this role is to provide support within our atmospheric science capability in Australia and New Zealand. Primary responsibilities will include supporting our team by leading and/or writing proposals, managing project delivery and working collaboratively with a range of disciplines to successfully drive, plan and deliver air quality projects across multiple market sectors. Application of your excellent understanding of legislative frameworks, including the requirements across multiple State and Commonwealth jurisdictions to deliver upon environmental air quality objectives.
Here's what you'll need
* Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or other closely related technical degree.
* Professional air quality project experience, including permitting, modeling, monitoring, and reporting (preferably in consulting).
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups or similar.
* Experience with direct client interaction.
* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, contractors, and teammates
* Proven organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
* Experience with small, medium, or large-scale client environmental consulting projects and representing clients to stakeholders including regulatory agencies.
