Clinical Lead – Fire Sprinkler Installation ProjectEmployment Type: Fixed-Term (9-12 months)Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is seeking a proactive and experienced Clinical Lead to oversee the installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems across bed-based areas and kitchens at both the Albury and Wodonga Campuses.
This complex project requires strong leadership to manage daily operational impacts, coordinate clinical and non-clinical teams, and ensure smooth implementation with minimal disruption.In this key role, you will develop and manage staging and decanting plans, assess and mitigate risks, and provide expert coordination between clinical staff, project teams, and contractors.
Your problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and leadership will be critical to the project's success from planning through to commissioning.This opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with the Infrastructure Services Delivery (ISD) project team providing valuable hands-on experience and learning opportunities.
You will have a chance to develop project management skills and contribute to the successful delivery of the project.If you have a strong background in healthcare operations and project coordination, we encourage you to apply for this unique opportunity to contribute to an essential infrastructure upgrade at AWH.Key Responsibilities:Lead risk management and mitigation in impacted areas.Develop and manage staging and decanting plans.Act as the primary liaison between clinical, operational, and project teams (including the fire service installers).Ensure contractor compliance and work scheduling.Provide progress reports and escalate issues as needed.Oversee communication and business continuity updates.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in allied health and/or nursing with relevant registration.Extensive operational experience in healthcare with strong strategic execution skills.Leadership experience in staff coordination and issue resolution.Experience as a health industry practitioner (e.g., Nurse Consultant or Allied Health Professional).AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga.
