THE COMPANY
Our client is a privately owned, quality assured, multi-disciplinary organisation providing clients with premium quality surveying, town planning, ecology, project management, laser scanning, and design services across New South Wales. With over 50 staff members including registered land surveyors, town planners, project managers, and sewer and water accredited designers who are supported by drafting, GIS, and administration staff.
THE ROLE
The role would suit a mid-level senior with consulting experience. We can be flexible with work hours and location arrangements for the right candidate. We are seeking a mid-level or Senior Town Planner to join our team. Our town planning section undertakes large and small projects across residential, commercial, education, rural, renewable energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Our projects span NSW thanks to our offices in the Lower Hunter, Mid-Western, Mid-Coast, and Central Coast regions of NSW. We guide, advise, and support our clients through many project stages.

The successful applicant would ideally have all of the following skills, experiences, and qualifications:
* Qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or related discipline.
* At least 5 years’ experience in the town planning profession, preferably within the NSW planning system.
* Experience managing complex projects.
* Customer and quality focus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence.
Our multidisciplinary team also provides geographic information systems (GIS) and project management services and carries out landscape and visual impact, social impact, and crime risk assessments. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop new skills or utilise their existing skills in these disciplines.
