About the role
Reporting to both the CEO and Board Chair, the Company Secretary will work closely with the Board Chair EA, Executive Officer and CEO.
This is a senior role within the organisation, which is responsible for the following:
* Conducting annual Board reviews and organising Board off-site forums
* Setting up and attending all Board meetings, Sub Committee meetings, and advisory meetings
* Timely and accurate preparation of Board minutes
* Prompt distribution of Board papers
* Organising catering and coordinating Board retreats and planning days
* Proofreading and formatting reports
* Providing briefing notes to the CEO and Chair
* Orientation of all new Board members
About you
You’re a vibrant and dynamic professional with previous experience in a high-level executive/company secretarial role.
You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in consultation and collaboration with Board members and senior stakeholders.
Highly organised and proactive, you are able to maintain focus and motivation for critical compliance and administrative tasks.
You have excellent written communication and analytical/numerical skills, including a demonstrated ability to think critically, interpret and present insights from data, and provide proactive solutions.
Your attention to detail is second to none and you have a continuous improvement mindset.
