The Role and Team:
The Podiatry department in Hobart has a comprehensive induction program, ongoing professional support and supervision, monthly in-services, a funding allowance for continuing professional development, a variety of research interests and great working relationships with other Allied Health professions. There are 20 Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants working across 3 main service streams of inpatients, outpatient and community, and there is a place for you in our team to grow, develop and belong.
As part of our team delivering high quality Podiatry Services, you will:
1. Promote, develop and provide Podiatry services in accordance with professional standards, best practice and evidence, to a predominately specialist or complex caseload, in order to improve foot health outcomes for patients.
2. Provide clinical direction and professional supervision and support to Level 1-2 Podiatrists and undergraduate podiatry students.
3. Assist with the development of podiatry clinical services through planning, evidence-based practice, quality improvement and research activities.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
$110,425 to $126,703 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Minimum Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
* 5 years clinical podiatry experience or demonstrated ability to work in a senior position
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Holds or working towards post graduate studies
