Switchboard Services are looking for a Switchboard Administration Officer to join their team. The purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient delivery of telecommunication and information services to internal and external customers of the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Metro South HHS; and contribute to the provision of quality services by being an active member of a team-oriented, flexible, multi-skilled workforce.About The RoleProvide a high-level quality customer service; respond professionally to all calls ensuring that the caller is transferred or redirected correctly and in a timely manner.Ability to work in a high-paced environment and contribute to a team environment to achieve common outcomes.Ability to work in a staggered shift environment that relies upon clear communication and understanding.Perform general administrative duties to contribute to the effective daily operations of the switchboard department whilst also participating and contributing to quality improvement processes.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
