About the Job:
As a Feed Technician with Tassal in Proserpine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our prawns receive the right amount of feed at the right time, which contributes to their healthy growth and development. Hungry prawns aren’t healthy prawns!
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Regularly inspecting and cleaning feeders, hydrophones, and feed pipes.
Identifying and fixing mechanical issues with feeding equipment.
Working with the operations and central feed team to optimise feeding strategies.
Sticking to our strict quality and safety standards.

Ability to work in challenging conditions, including water.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Effective communication and the ability to follow instructions.
Commitment to working a 2/2/3 roster, having reliable transport and desire to work the entire season.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
The legal right to work in Australia.
