Zancott Recruitment is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to lead teams and deliver exceptional results on high-impact civil projects. If you're ready to drive success, we want to hear from you To lead and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and quality delivery of civil construction projects. This role involves managing site teams, maintaining client relationships, and upholding safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Site Operations Management (40%) Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Manage site personnel (employees and subcontractors) to optimise productivity and ensure project timelines are met. Monitor and control site resources, including labour, equipment, and materials. Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting. Safety Leadership (20%) Lead safety initiatives, ensuring a strong safety culture across the site. Conduct pre-start meetings and toolbox talks. Ensure adherence to WHS policies and regulations, identifying and addressing potential hazards. Quality Control (15%) Oversee quality control processes and inspections to ensure work meets project specifications. Maintain quality documentation and records, liaising with external inspectors as necessary. Team Leadership (15%) Provide direction, support, and on-the-job training for site personnel. Monitor team performance, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive team environment. Stakeholder Management (10%) Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Address community concerns and report project progress to management. Key Skills & Competencies: Leadership Strong team leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments. Technical Proficient in civil construction methods, reading construction drawings, and survey procedures. Knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes. Experience with various construction plant and equipment. Operational Strong organisational, planning, and resource management skills. Experience in project documentation and reporting. Proficient in cost control and site administration. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent (preferred). Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated experience in earthworks and civil projects. Valid driver's license and current construction safety certifications. Working knowledge of project management software. Key Performance Indicators: Safety performance and incident rates. On-time project delivery. Quality of completed works. Team efficiency and productivity. Client satisfaction.
