The opportunity
We are seeking a passionate, experienced Account Manager - Financial Services to join FinXL, based in our Melbourne office. You will identify and grow current major IT services engagements, projects and consulting opportunities and optimise our business performance within the banking sector.
You will be responsible for providing recommendations to clients for process improvements and developing account strategies based on current and upcoming requirements by combining consultants expertise with proven methodologies to deliver innovative solutions.
Who you are
The qualities and experience below will be your trademarks:
1. Have a demonstrable and proven track record of Solution Sales, Business Development and Account Management
2. You will be inquisitive, thorough and absolutely focused on delivering the best outcomes for our customers
3. Have a background in technology and or commercial proposal capture management to identify, shape and lead competitive bids
4. Show experience with complex deal management
5. Display commercial acumen to ensure financial growth is achieved through a defined strategic sales / business plan
6. Have a proven track record in achieving targets, generating business leads
7. Self-motivated and with a strong desire to exceed personal and team goals
8. Show creativity, drive and tenacity, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
9. Demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills
What will you do?
10. Assisting in the definition of resource, delivery and governance requirements
11. Work closely with, and utilise colleagues expertise to develop effective solutions for our customers
12. Collaborate with stakeholder and customer groups to elicit, analyse, identify and evaluate new business opportunities to extend and develop FinXL's VIC client portfolio
13. Generate effective sales pipeline
14. Establish and develop exceptional internal and external relationships
