Your new role
We are looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst - Sustainability to support our client's global Sustainability projects. (Focusing mainly on Australia, Chile, Canada) The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the GHG Emissions domain, particularly Scope 1 & 2, and ideally be familiar with relevant legislation for Australia, Chile, and North America GHG reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* GHG Emissions Expertise:
Understand and analyse GHG Emissions data, and participate in technical sessions to structure data to meet requirements.
* Technical Requirements Gathering:
Conduct workshops, interviews, and other methods to gather functional and non-functional requirements from diverse stakeholders.
* Requirements Documentation:
Apply a methodical approach to documenting requirements and managing the requirements change process.
* Tool Analysis:
Elicit requirements from existing tools (Excel Spreadsheets & Power BI dashboards) to determine functionality that needs to be replicated in new systems.
* Wireframe Development:
Create wireframes to effectively communicate and support business requirements.
* Process Modelling:
Assist with process modelling and mapping, working alongside specialist process modellers.
* UAT Activities:
Write and orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including the creation of documentation and training materials.
What you'll need to succeed
* Exposure to the GHG Emissions domain, particularly Scope 1 & 2, and relevant legislation for Australia, Chile, and North America GHG reporting.
* Ability to understand GHG Emissions data and participate in technical sessions around how data should be structured to best meet requirements.
* Strong experience gathering technical requirements (functional and non-functional) from diverse stakeholders in the form of workshops, interviews or other.
* Methodical approach to requirements documentation and requirements change process.
* Ability to illicit requirements from existing tools (Excel Spreadsheet & Power BI dashboards) to determine how they work and what sort of functionality needs to be replicated in a new system.
* Ability to develop wireframes to better communicate / support business requirements.
* Ability to assist with process modelling / mapping, working alongside specialist process modellers.
* Ability to write and orchestrate UAT activities including documentation and training material.
