Guest Service Agent to join our team on a full time basis. If you thrive on providing excellent customer service, possess a welcoming personality, and are keen to build an exciting career in hospitality, then this is the role for you.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Greet and welcome all guests.
Provide information to and assist guests with hotel services
Ensure a smooth welcoming check in and an accurate and efficient checkout
Assist with after hours Reservation enquires
Balance all transactions at the end of shift ensuring postings have the correct supporting documentation and discrepancies reported
Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties
Managing difficult situations including customer complaints
Adhering to hotel grooming/dress standards
Work across a rotating roster: early morning, late evening, weekends etc.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess previous front office or reception experience within a hospitality environment, strong computer literacy and the ability to deliver superior quality customer service. You can work effectively unsupervised, possess an understanding of cross-selling and problem solving techniques, and have strong administrative and organisational skills. Knowledge of Property Management Systems, in particular Opera is highly desirable, along with experience working in a hospitality environment.
