Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to provide technical advice and training to fellow healthcare practitioners, enhancing your professional development. ABOUT THE HEALTH CENTRE Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 defence staff, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2,500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, and operates a 22-bed 24/7 ward. ABOUT YOU As the ideal candidate, you will have strong clinical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on efficient dispensary operations and inventory control. You will prioritize patient safety by following strict safety and quality control practices in medication distribution. You will communicate clearly with patients, offering advice, answering questions, and providing guidance. You will also support fellow healthcare professionals with your technical expertise. A strong foundation of personal integrity, coupled with an unwavering commitment to ethical practice. Current, unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A minimum of two years of full-time post-internship experience within the last five years, ideally within Defence, Hospital, or Community Pharmacy settings (part-time equivalent will be considered). Active involvement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in alignment with AHPRA requirements. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009). Membership with professional organizations such as the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or the Society of Hospital Pharmacists is highly regarded. Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
