Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead and manage various data projects, including the development of Power BI reports. You will work closely with our experienced and collaborative team to extract, analyse and visualise complex data sets to support the administration of grants and enhance decision-making processes. What you'll do: Liaising with stakeholders to understand and document their data needs and translate these requirements into reporting products.Leading the development of advanced Excel and Power BI reporting products to support program managers and provide insights to stakeholders and the executive.Managing ad-hoc data and reporting requests across diverse subject matters and datasets.Developing, implementing and maintaining SQL queries and scripts for efficient data extraction and transformation.Maintaining DAX, PowerQuery M, data models and visuals within Power BI dashboards.Ensuring data quality, integrity and security in all data-related processes in accordance with departmental and Australian Government policies. Ideal candidate will: Have high proficiency in SQL, DAX and PowerQuery M and experience with relational SQL databases.Have expertise in using Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.Have highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information succinctly to non-technical audiences.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Develop and maintain productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.Lead analytical work in a fast-paced changing environment, managing competing priorities and effectively meeting tight time frames to deliver projects.Be a self-driven learner who is able to independently learn new technologies and solve problems.
