We are looking for a Head of Grid Technologies Sales Australia to join our team and work with us at the centre point of one of the focus growth country within Grid Technologies Asia Pacific, spearheading the implementation of the energy transition. You will report to the Head of Grid Technologies Sales for the Region Asia Pacific.
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will lead the Grid Technology Sales Australia team. Together with your team, your responsibilities include achieving sales targets with focus on profitable growth, improve market exploitation and increase market share with all kind of potential customers and channels. Additionally, you will actively contribute to GT’s APAC Sales Pathway and play a key role in developing and implementing country sales strategy by coordinating/ aligning with and across different Execution Units, and Functions of Grid Technologies as well as with GT Asia Pacific Regional Management team, SE Australia Country Management and Hub Sales.
How You’ll Make an Impact
4. Defines, develop and ensure implementation of country sales strategy for Grid Technologies Sales Australia in order to increase top and bottom-line targets with all kinds of potential customers and channels.
5. Takes an active role by advocating for the Grid Technologies’ interest showing long term commitment to increase and secure customer satisfaction out of developing opportunities into sustainable projects.
6. Investigates and evaluates specific business opportunities for products / products bundle / systems/ service by analyzing mid-term investments of customers in Australia market.
7. Drives and monitors key market development programs, vertical sales development, portfolio pushes, and pricing enhancements
8. Ensure effective sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within GT execution units and across Siemens Energy Business Areas.
9. Ensure effective sales organization and infrastructure for cooperation with other parts in the value chain ( Marketing & Communication, Product Management, etc.)
10. Guarantee flawless execution of orders including coordination between factories, other Siemens Energy BUs, external suppliers and remaining onshore scope.
11. Lead and develop the workforce, ensuring maximum productivity and effectiveness. Enable a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees and retention of key staff.
12. Demonstrate a ‘safety first’ approach and live the Zero Harm culture: thinking & working safely, in line with organization & regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
13. Master or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration.
14. Excellent sales experience/ knowledge of common technologies related to Grid Technologies equipment such as Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers and/or AIS/ GIS and good understanding about Grid Technologies market.
15. Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales.
16. Leadership experience and proven track record in people management
17. Proven capabilities in motivating change and building sustainable teams
18. Outstanding stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
19. Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture and organization combined with pro activeness, innovation and partnership.
20. Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/ objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges.
