They are looking for a Buying Assistant to join their vibrant team and assist in all stages of the product development and sampling process.What We Are Looking For:We seek an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to the buyer in maintaining product integrity from purchase order through to final approval, ensuring alignment with business expectations.Key Responsibilities:Process purchase orders based on in-store dates and promotions.Maintain purchase orders with Planning's approval and ensure timely sales confirmations from suppliers.Request, approve, and store samples accurately with updated descriptions and barcodes.Keep product libraries and assortment plans current.Respond to the Service Desk within two days and coordinate compliance testing.Manage WNIS processes and online product descriptions before launch.Oversee product photography to ensure website accuracy aligns with in-store availability.Prepare samples for seasonal photoshoots and assist in the delivery process to stores.Maintain organized sample delivery timelines and tracking documents.Collaborate with the Buyer and Graphics Team on artwork and manage approvals.Perform ad-hoc duties as required.Key Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Strong numeracy, organisation, and customer service skills.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.If you are ready to embrace this exciting challenge and meet the qualifications outlined above, we would love to hear from you!
