Care For Hedland Environmental Association – Port Hedland WA
The Care For Hedland Environmental Association seeks a motivated team player to assist with the operation and coordination of the Community Garden Program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Promotion of general gardening activities throughout the wider community.Assisting in the ongoing operation and maintenance of the South Hedland RSL Community Garden.Organizing market stalls and promotional events, including the annual Great Garden Awards.Conducting community, day care, and school talks regarding gardening and organic food production.Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in gardening in Hedland is preferred.
Previous experience working with volunteers is viewed favorably.
Remuneration: A remuneration package is offered based on the SACSWAAward level 3.1 at $35.62/hr plus statutory superannuation, 5 weeks annual leave, location allowance as per the Award, and professional development and training opportunities.
There is no house provided as part of this role.
