Role Overview As an Accounts and Payroll Officer, you will report to the Finance Manager and be integral to our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and payroll who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working with multiple stakeholders. You will primarily be based at our Campbelltown office, with a minimum of one day per week working from our Redfern Head Office. Key Responsibilities
Payroll Support: Provide assistance to Payroll Officer, assist with end to end payroll processing, preparing and analysing payroll reports to ensure accuracy, receiving and resolving payroll queries, maintain and update payroll and related systems.
Daily Bank Reconciliation: Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Accounts Payable: Process and manage payments to vendors and suppliers.
Accounts Receivable: Invoicing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate receipts.
Corporate Credit Card Processing: Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Support various finance-related tasks as required.
Essential Criteria
Experience: Minimum 3 years in a medium-sized business with relevant payroll and accounting experience.
Software Skills: Experience with MYOB is highly desirable.
Excel Skills: Intermediate proficiency required.
Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling various tasks across the finance department.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication with a confident, personable demeanour.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Work Environment: Enjoy working in a vibrant, fast-paced setting.
