Their continued success has paved the way for a newly created opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their close-knit, professional team. As an Accountant, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service to clients, build and sustain relationships, and manage the financial performance of your assigned portfolio. Key Responsibilities include: Oversee the daily operations of the multi-family office, managing and executing on all accounting requirements and tax compliance obligations, including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, BASs, IASs and income tax returns. Assist the Business Manager with monthly and quarterly dashboard and investment performance, collation of data and putting the data through the dashboard reporting model. Working at or with external clients managing their day-to-day requirements such as bill paying, managing accounts etc. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and ensure that the office is operating in compliance with regulatory requirements. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry professionals. Your skills will include: Proven experience in an accounting practice, particularly with high-net-worth clients and family offices. A degree qualification and completed CA/CPA certification. 3-5 years’ experience with a Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm, ideally at the Supervisor or Junior Manager level. Advanced proficiency in Xero, Xero Tax, and Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture client relationships. Financial acumen, with a keen ability to analyse financial statements and make informed decisions. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team.
