Are you an experienced Concrete Pump Operator Team Leader looking to take the next step into a Senior leadership role?
We've got an exciting opportunity for a Concrete Pump Crew Supervisor with a well-established, Canberra-based concrete company.
Specialising in medium to large commercial projects-from multi-storey complexes to expansive horizontal works, this company is known for delivering high-quality results and has a strong pipeline of work across the ACT & Southern NSW What You'll Be Doing: Oversee a team of 8-12 crew members on-site, ensuring that everyone is working efficiently and safely.
Operate and maintain concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring optimal performance.
Monitor flow rates and ensure concrete placement meets project specifications.
Perform pre-operation checks and regular maintenance on equipment to keep everything running smoothly.
Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate concrete deliveries and placements, ensuring schedules are met.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Assist in training and supervising junior operators, helping to develop the next generation of concrete professionals.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industry, particularly in civil or commercial projects.
Ability to set up and operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong knowledge of concrete mixes, pump maintenance, and safety regulations.
A solid understanding of site plans and project specifications to ensure accurate work.
Competent IT skills to process the "admin" that is required at this level Ability to work alongside site crews, liaising with supervisors and machine operators to ensure smooth operations.
A commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of following safety procedures on-site.
Effective communication skills to liaise with the construction team and other stakeholders.
A valid driver's licence (MR or higher) and the ability to work on construction sites.
A current White Card (General Construction Induction) is essential.
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing to ensure a safe working environment.
What's on Offer: Hourly Rate from $50/hr, with paid overtime (that's above industry standard!).
