About the Role
Functions as the strategic leader of the property's Beverage and Food Operations. (B&F) The areas of responsibility include Lollo, Bar Lollo, Curious, Warabi, WET, In-room Dining, and Banqueting operations. The Director of B&F works with direct reports to develop and implement B&F departmental strategies. The position oversees and ensures that the B&F operations meet the Brand's Standards and luxury, Leading Quality Assurance and ensuring guest and talent satisfaction, focusing on growing revenues and maximizing the department's financial performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead and execute the B&F strategy in alignment with W Hotels’ luxury standards.
* Work with the B&F leadership team to determine areas of concern and develop strategies to improve the department's financial performance and manage P&L.
* Drive innovation by staying ahead of market trends and introducing new F&B experiences.
* Monitoring the B&F department's actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded, and opportunities are identified and addressed.
* Engage, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service and elevate the guest experience.
* Provides services above and beyond for guest satisfaction and ensuring return patronage and of B&F venues and the Hotels.
* Focuses on maintaining profit margins without compromising guest or Talent satisfaction.
* Carry out any other duty/function that the Hotel Manager or General Manager may assign.
* Provide ongoing support to the Hotel Manager or General Manager.
Qualifications
3-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related; 4 years' experience in food and beverage service, administration and strategy. OR 4-year bachelor's degree in business administration or Hotel Management.
Required Skills
* Related Work Experience: At least 8 year of related work experience.
