Log Yard Operator & Sawyer Wanted
We are seeking a skilled Log Yard Operator & Sawyer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for unloading and reloading trucks, managing log stock control, operating a saw bench, measuring and docking logs, and using your loader skills to keep the mill fed.
* Unload and reload trucks with precision.
* Manage log stock control and make expert selections.
* Operate a saw bench with precision, milling timber to exact specifications.
* Measure and dock logs with care and accuracy.
* Use your loader skills to keep the mill fed and the operation on point.
Required Skills:
* Timber handling and milling expertise.
* Saw bench skills, including precision and focus.
* Confidence and capability in chainsaw operations.
* Experience driving a loader.
* Organisational skills to keep logs in order and operations seamless.
