As the Project Controls Manager, you will ensure effective planning, monitoring, and control of project activities and work closely with the broader team providing accurate and timely updates on project performance, cost, schedule, and risk.
Responsibilities Develop & maintain comprehensive project plan & schedule (milestones, activities & deliverables). Collaborate with wider team ensuring alignment with project objectives & stakeholder requirements. Monitor & update schedule regularly reflecting progress & identify any potential deviations Develop, implement & maintain cost control systems tracking expenditures, budgets & variances. Prepare cost estimates for project phases & activities (Labor, materials, equipment, and other relevant costs). Analyze cost data, identify trends & provide cost forecasting to support decision-making. Establish mechanisms to monitor & report on project progress, (regular progress reports, dashboards, and performance indicators). Coordinate with project team to collect & validate progress data. Analyze data identifying potential delays & risks, provide recommendations for mitigation. Identify & monitor project risks - schedule, cost, and technical risks. Collaborate with wider team developing risk mitigation strategies & contingency plans. Review & update risk register, communicate status to relevant stakeholders. Evaluate project change requests, including scope changes, schedule changes & cost changes Participate in project review meetings, provide feedback on performance & areas of improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager in EPC projects Experience within the power industry and specifically with CSP technology highly desirable Proficiency software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
