Senior Content Writer & Knowledge Manager We are seeking an experienced writer to fill the newly created position of Senior Content Writer & Knowledge Manager within our corporate division. This key role will involve contributing to the company's growth and success by managing and creating compelling, persuasive content for our bids, proposals, and new business opportunities. This role can be based from our brand new office on Collins Street in Melbourne, or our office in Chatswood, NSW. About The Role Working closely with our business development and bid teams, you will review and oversee the consistency, quality, and accuracy of our submissions. This will require attention to detail, a strong understanding of our business, and the ability to effectively articulate our value proposition. Additionally, you will provide valuable advice and improvements to our operational bid teams across our Utilities, Telecommunications, Transport, and Defence & Social Infrastructure divisions. Your expertise will help these divisions streamline their bid submissions and ultimately contribute to our overall business success. Your key duties will include: Developing, writing, and editing compelling content for bids, proposals, and new business opportunities. Collaborating with Business Development teams across all operational business units to understand and meet their content needs. Ensuring the quality, consistency, and accuracy of submissions developed by the bid teams in Service Stream's operational business units. Reviewing bids and proposals and providing advice and suggestions for improvement. Managing and updating the company's knowledge base to support business development activities. About You Our ideal candidate will have: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in content or bid writing or a similar discipline. Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge and experience in business development and proposals/bids writing. Experience working for an essential services infrastructure contractor/provider or within a large professional organisation. Knowledge of the Utilities, Telecommunications, Transport, and Defence & Social Infrastructure sectors is a plus but not essential. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
